Bob made a genuine effort to grow up in Garfield, Ky. He has been happily married for most of the 27 years that he and his High School sweetheart have been married. God has blessed Bob and LuAnn with three wonderful children which they are incredibly proud of; Rebekah, Robert, and Ryan.
 
Bob is a graduate of the University of Louisville but an avid fan of Kentucky basketball (UK) which tends to be problematic in Kentucky. Bob received a Masters Degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with focus on Counseling and Family Ministry and is currently working towards a Doctorate of Ministry degree. He began his ministry at CBC in July of 2000.

Pete Mar

Pete was born in Texas and moved to the Central Valley at the age of 4. He has lived in Patterson, Grayson, Madera, Modesto, and for the past 21 years in Waterford.

Pete and his wife, Linda, have been at CBC since August of 2001. They have four adult children and five grandchildren. He enjoys reading church growth and leadership books and watching John Wayne westerns. His favorite foods are pizza and ice cream. He grew up in a Pentecostal church and served in different levels of leadership until March of 2001 when He and his wife, Linda, felt led by God to leave the denomination they had grown up in. This led to their ministry at CBC.
 
Pete's vision is to become a fully devoted follower of Christ as he continues to grow as a husband, father and church leader. His prayer for our church and our community is that we learn what it means to fully surrender our lives to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and experience the fullness of life He promises.

Brandon Hendriks

Brandon has been on staff at CBC since August 2009 as the Senior High Pastor. He has been a full time high school pastor since December 2002 and says that he couldn't imagine doing anything else. The plan for his life was to become a trial lawyer, but God had other plans. He says "when God got a hold of me as a Senior in high school, I then followed his call into high school ministry". He received a Bachelor's Degree in Youth Ministry with Minors in Psychology and Biblical Studies from Simpson University in Redding, CA, and is currently working towards a Master's Degree in Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary. 
He is blessed with an incredible wife, Melissa, who is also called to and involved in the youth ministry, and God has blessed them with two amazing boys who keep them very busy! If Brandon has any spare time after family, ministry, school, etc., he loves to snowboard, wakeboard, ride dirtbikes, and play tennis and video games.

Matt Scott

Matt grew up in the big city of Jackson, Tn. He and his wife Tiffany met at Union University and got married in April of 2005 in Orlando, Fl. He earned an Associates Degree in General Studies from Liberty University in 2008. They then moved to the other side of the world, Sydney, Australia so that Matt could get more training at Hillsong International Leadership College.
 
In August of 2010 while still in Sydney, they were blessed with their first child, Olivia. Then in December Matt graduated from Hillsong College with a Diploma of Ministry. He has been serving at CBC since January 2011.
 
 
Matt is a sports nut. He grew up playing, watching, talking about, or making up sports. His favorite teams are the Atlanta Braves, Orlando Magic, and Tennessee Titans.



 
 

Don Crooker

Serving as Pastor to the 50 and Better at CBC since 2006. Prior to that spent 31 years as Founder/CEO of Christian Berets ministry to persons with disabilities based in Modesto. Also 11 years pastoring, 4 years as a Social Worker for Stanislaus County and 23 years as an Instructor of the Dale Carnegie Leadership course.

Married for 7 years to Mara after losing first wife of 47 years. We have 6 children and 13 grandchildren.

Currently serve as Chaplain with Stanislaus County Sheriff Department, Modesto Police Department and the Stanislaus County Fire Department.

I love working with children.  To see their faces light up when they see you is truly a gift.  It is such a blessing to be here on Sundays and during AWANA time and have children run up to you and give you a hug because they know you care.  Making a positive impact on children is very rewarding for me.  To see these little ones come to faith in Jesus is so awesome!  Just being a small part in this process, getting to see God at work in these small lives is a miracle I get to enjoy.

 
 

Carol Williams

Carol became a member at CBC in 2001

She started as a receptionist in the church office in 2004. She then moved into the Business Administrator position in 2005 after working in accounting offices and a local newspaper as the bookkeeper and then the Office Manager.

She is a native of Stanislaus County and is married with one son. She also enjoys fellowship, reading, camping, crafts and learning about my ancestors on ancestry.com.

Tammy has been on staff since May 2009. She was born in Dayton, Ohio but grew up in Escalon, California. Her hobbies include hanging out with her husband Ken, and playing with her 11 grandchildren. 
 She has been in ministry in some capacity for 25+ years, serving as office manager, human resource manager, as well as doing other ministry related responsibilities.
