Pastor’s Thoughts Finding a Fresh Start! With the arrival of March and the season of spring, there is the awareness that this year is well underway. For some that awareness also brings the realization that many of the things we resolved to change this year have been forgotten and remain the same. It is not that we were not serious about making changes when the New Year began, it is simply that we oftentimes set out with good intentions but no real plan. And if we do have a plan, too often we have not included God in the plan. Easter and the resurrection of Jesus Christ gives us insight into the powerful plan of God to bring salvation to people. The good news that God is brings life out of death gives us hope! This Spring, our sermon series will focus on “Finding a Fresh Start.” My prayer is that each of us will experience God in a fresh and new way. We will focus on what it means to experience a fresh start in your life; a fresh start with God and a fresh start with God’s help. Begin praying and preparing to experience God in a fresh and new way this spring. Invite your friends and neighbors to be with. As we see life spring forth around us in nature, may we also experience God’s power at work in our lives to bring forth new life in us! Plan to join us for this important series of messages!
