The acronym AWANA was taken from 2 Timothy 2:15 (NIV) "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth." We summarize it to say Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed.

AWANA is a mid-week Children's Ministry focusing on getting as much of God's Word as deep into the hearts of as many kids as we can. This is done through scripture memorization, fun activities and award recognition. We minister to kids aged 3 years old through 8th grade as we prepare them to transition to High School Ministries.
