UNBOUND (High School Ministry)

John 8:36
So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.

We are the High School Ministry of CBC Waterford. John 8:36 is our mission statement and rally cry. We have come to understand the depravity of who we are and our need for a savior. We have humbly sought Christ and His redeeming work, completed on the cross “to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.” (1 John 1:9). As a gift of His love, we now live our lives free of the sin that had condemned us to death. We see our circles of influence as a mission field to share this amazing message of hope and life. We meet weekly to engage in worship, teaching, and small group fellowship, so that we can be better equipped to reconcile the world as we were intended to do (2 Corinthians 5:11-21).

Join us Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:30pm @theROC

Agape (Jr. High Youth Group)

Matthew 22:37-40

THE VISION: To create a safe environment in order to cultivate healthy relationships with God, one another, and others who are in and around our community.

THE MISSION: To empower our youth to live their lives boldly for our Lord and to love others with the same type of unconditional love (Agape) that He first gave us.

THE APPROACH: Agape operates on what it believes to be the best approach to ministry and in creating relationships: K.I.S. “Keep it simple”. “For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.” 1 Corinthians 1:17

The Pillars

Create a fun, safe place to learn and grow, with leaders that feel led by the Spirit to pour out God’s love and disciple youth:

1) Bring the scripture: Teach out of God’s living word and spread the truth about the Lord’s love for mankind in the gospel.

2) Create small groups: Where youth can talk to one another and grow in community. Also having leaders with a group of youth that can help disciple them as they grow in their faith and relationship with God and one another.
